My Reading classes have had the support of Mrs. Sendejo while in the computer lab today. Together, we have had a productive day of research on famous African Americans! What a day!! Thanks Mrs. Sendejo for your support of our project! Papers will be due February 18, 2010.

Math Night = Metric Olympics

Join Magee Intermediate on Tuesday, February 23rd for our Annual Metric Olympics Math Night. Opening ceremonies begin at 5:30 in the cafeteria. After you enjoy a yummy dinner, events will begin at 6:05. Join us as for the paper straw javelin throw, cotton ball shotput, left handed sponge squeeze, paper plate discus throw and right handed marble grab. I hear you may even spot "BIG FOOT" during your evening!

Glad It's Friday

TGIF-but more importantly-I'm now a blogger. This should make my principal happy to know that another of his brilliant teachers is now "on the cutting edge"!!!!!

I am on the blog, not sure what I am doing. It is great to be back after 8 days of jury duty. I really missed by job and the kids.

New Library Pictures

The new shelves have been added to the library and as you can see at the top the ceiling is mulit-leveled. This picture only represents a third of the actually library.

K-12 Databases

In December the fourth graders used the K-12 Databases for their research project "Christmas Around the World. The 5th graders will soon be using the K-12 Databases for their research projects on African Americans.

My Science classes will be using United Streaming to review information about the sun.
